Ludhiana to have new ISKCON temple

There's good news for Krishna devotees in city. The International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) temple committee, is coming up with a new temple in Janpath Estate, near South City. Coming up on 4.5 acre at the cost of Rs 35 crore, the temple will be named, Shri Shri Jagannath Temple.

The temple will have a restaurant which will serve pure vegetarian food and a digital museum which will showcase various pastimes of Lord Krishna. There will also be a spiritual school for kids.

There would be lecture room, a guest house with around 50 rooms and two banquet halls with a total capacity of over 1,200 people.
